Branding Campaign Forum Scheduled
Forest Grove - where Oregon pinot was born. What does this mean for you?
There are 20,000 incorporated cities and 3,400 counties in the United States each trying to get their message out to be noticed and build a positive reputation and image. The challenge for small cities like Forest Grove is how to cut through the clutter.
Forest Grove recently completed the important process of developing a brand and strategy. The City will be holding a forum on the evening of October 14th to discuss the roll-out and implementation of the branding strategy and how you can be involved. Learn the key elements of a successful branding program, the benefits of a brand strategy, and how the brand will be built.
Discover how you can participate in the branding efforts and how a branding program is much more than just a logo and tagline. The presentation will be led by Bill Baker, internationally known specialist in branding, marketing, and destination positioning. Don Jones, Vice-Chair of the Forest Grove Economic Development Commission will explain Forest Grove’s true wine industry legacy and future opportunities. Other members of the Commission will discuss current projects and methods for using the branding to help your business and the image of the Community. The forum will take place Thursday, October 14, at 6 PM in the Community Auditorium. All are invited.
