In August 2008, the Forest Grove Police Department hosted a National Night Out event which was a resounding success, bringing community members together with a singular purpose of promoting our collaborative efforts to make Forest Grove a Safe Place to Live, Learn, Work, and Play! We achieved our goal!

We would like to personally invite you to our 2009 National Night Out event which will be held at the north end of Lincoln Park on Tuesday, August 4th. Our event is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm and conclude at 8:00pm. We already have tremendous community support and interest in our event and anticipate another successful year.

National Night Out is held in conjunction with several local events hosted by our Neighborhood Watch groups. Our event at Lincoln Park will include activities for children, informational booths from community organizations and businesses, a bike rodeo for children, and crime prevention materials and handouts.
