System Development Charges (SDCs) & Connections (2010)

Transportation Development Tax (TDT) SDC:
Depends on type of use—contact Planning Department for estimate

Water SDC:
Based on meter size: Drop In or Full Service

  • Connection Fee if City performs work. Fee based on meter size
  • Fire Service Fee: 2” and smaller approximately $1,000; over 2” approximately $2,000

Sewer SDC:
$4,500 per each Dwelling Unit Equivalent (DUE) 16 fixture counts = 1 DUE
Connection Fee of $2,800 per DUE if City performs work

Stormwater Management SDC:
$500 per ESU ($225/ESU for water quality, $275/water quantity).
2,540 s.f. of impervious surface = 1 ESU.  SDC in lieu of construction of on-site facilities is $15,000. 

Park SDC:
No SDC for Commercial or Industrial properties

Business License

There is a one-time set-up fee and an annual fee based on the number of employees.  The fees are non-refundable.  See Business Licenses for more information.

Building Permit Fees Based on valuation, follows State of Oregon Building Codes Division Fee Schedule Permit for $500,001 $1,000,000 building =$2,974 + $4.40 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof. Permit for $1,000,001 and up =$5,174.85 for first 1,000,000 + $2.85 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof.
