Anyone has the right to inspect any public record except as otherwise expressly provided by ORS 192.501-505.

All public records requests must be made in writing using the City's Public Records Request Form attached below.  The City shall respond to public record requests within seven (7) working days of receipt.  If your public record request is denied, specific reason(s) will be given by fax, email, or letter.  ORS 192.440(4a) authorizes a public body to establish fees to reimburse for cost in making public records available.

Vital Record Request

In Oregon, the Center for Health Statistics is responsible for issuing certified copies of vital records for events that occurred within the State of Oregon. The Center for Health Statistics has birth and death records dating from 1903; marriage records from 1906; and divorce certificates (not decrees) from 1925.
