Area Higher Education 

Pacific University: Located in Forest Grove since 1849, Pacific University offers 52 undergraduate degrees and graduate degrees in several fields including liberal arts, education, psychology, optometry and health services. Workforce Training and Development 

PCC Willow Creek Center: The Center offers a 1-stop, single point of access to a wide range of employment, training and workforce services in the Washington County area. On the Job Training (OJT) Wage Grants:  Through a variety of state and federal resources brought into the community by Worksystems, Inc., funds are available to help businesses train new hires who possess most, but not all, of the skills necessary for the job.  OJTs provide a wage reimbursement to companies that provide training to eligible job seekers hired through the WorkSource system. OJT is very versatile and can be used to train both high and lower skilled workers including those transitioning into new industries as well as entry level workers with minimal experience in an occupation.  971-722-2605 or On the Job Training Wage Grants
