The Comprehensive Plan sets the direction for the City over the next 20+ years.  Your participation will help make a better plan.  Here are ways to get involved:

(1) Click here to get on the Official Mailing List to receive meeting announcements, newsletters, etc. 

(2) Plan on attending the ANNUAL TOWN MEETING on Saturday, January 26, 2008, in the Community Auditorium (1915 Main Street).  We will be discussing the changes that Forest Grove may face over the coming years.

(3) Come to any of the TOPICAL meetings in February that interest you (all meetings at the Community Auditorium, 7 to 9 pm):

Tuesday, Feb. 5 - Why We Do What We Do:  Metro & The State's Roles in Forest  Grove's Comp Plan Update

Thursday, Feb. 7 - Up, Out & Other Options:  Land Use, Density & the UGB

Tuesday, Feb. 12 - Keeping Roofs Over Our Heads:  Housing Affordability

NO Feb. 14th meeting

Tuesday, Feb. 19 - Getting From Here to There:  Transportation Issues

Tuesday, Feb. 21 - Where We Work:  Economic Development

Tuesday, Feb. 26 - Room For Learning:  Forest Grove Schools & Pacific University

Thursday, Feb. 28 - Natural Places:  Parks, Open Space, Natural Hazards

(3)  Invite us to speak about the Update at your club, organization, or group.  Call Marcia Phillips at 503.992.3227 to set a date.

(4) Submit a photo to the Citywide Photo Contest of the Best or Worst of Forest Grove.  Pick up an application at City Hall or click here.  Photos due by MAY 5, 2008.

(5) Read the project newsletter:
