Forest Grove Fire & Rescue's 64 members are comprised of both career and part-time employees as well as volunteers from throughout the community.  The Department currently operates out of two fire stations, the Forest Grove Station is the headquarters of the department and is located at 1919 Ash Street in historic downtown Forest Grove and is a combination paid and volunteer station.  A second all volunteer station is located at 52155 NW Old Wilson River Road in the beautiful community of Gales Creek in Western Washington County.

It is the vision of Forest Grove Fire & Rescue that we will, through active training, being equipped with the best workforce, provide a modern, technological, and safe service to the community.  We will provide an environment to embrace civil virtues, personal excellence, integrity, and an obligation to family and the community.

Our Goals:

1.  To deliver comprehensive fire and life safety services of the highest quality.

2.  To support and maintain a safe, healthy, well trained and high performance workforce.

3.  To provide high quality Advanced Life Support (ALS) first responder service as part of an integrated emergency medical care system.

4.  To be a community resource for life safety knowledge and information about our services.

5.  To attract and retain a qualified and diverse workforce.

6.  to be accountable to our community for demonstrable results.
