Firefighters Annual Toy Drive Underway
Expecting another year of high demand for toys and assistance, Forest Grove Fire & Rescue is rolling out its annual toy drive early.
Firefighters began accepting applications from families for help on Tuesday, November 1. Applications can be found online at the fire department's Facebook and Twitter pages or at the link below. They can also be picked up at the fire station located at 1919 Ash Street and can be turned in there. Applications for assistance are due Decembe
r 16.
Donation bins will hit the streets November 21 but donations of new toys can be made at any time at the Forest Grove Fire Station. From December 16 through December 23, firefighters will load up gift baskets, making the toys and gifts available for families to pick up during business hours.
