Rain Causes Phone/Computer Issues at FG Light & Power
The recent rain storms have been creating the usual issues for City crews and citizens. However, the Light & Power Department staff arrived at work this morning to an unexpected problem -- a leaking roof over top the computer/phone server room.
The Light & Power Department offices are currently without phone service and computers until further notice. The equipment needs to be relocated from the wet environment before staff can ascertain how much damage has been done to the server and how long until repairs can be made.
The Light & Power phones have been switched to "Out of Office" mode so callers will be connected to a voicemail system and asked to leave a message. Power outages should be reported to City Hall at 503.992.3221 during the business day or to 503.412.2444 after business hours.
