Suspicious Death Ruled a Homicide
The suspicious death reported on November 27, 2011, is now a homicide investigation.
Officers responded to 2527 17th Avenue at 12:43 pm on November 27 to conduct a welfare check for a subject that had not been seen in several days. The person initiating the call had advised that a 63 year old male who lived at the address had not been seen or heard from for several days. The officers were unable to make contact at the residence, subsequently forced entry, and located the subject in the residence deceased.
Further investigation and results of the autopsy revealed Raymond L. Faulk, 63, died from homicidal violence. Forest Grove Police Department detectives, along with detectives from the Washington County Major Crimes Team are investigating the case.
This is the second homicide in Forest Grove in two weeks. There is no connection between the two cases.
