Forest Grove School District 

Serving the areas of Cornelius, Dilley, Forest Grove and Gales Creek, the District’s mission is to provide an education that will promote life-long learning. The Forest Grove School District serves 6,000 students in ten schools and employs more than 500 teachers, support staff, and administrators. It provides quality education in a safe and fun environment and encourages students to participate in extra curricular activities such as music, drama, speech, debate, FFA and athletics. The District also offers a Talented and Gifted program, special education, and English Language Development (ELD).

The Forest Grove Community School is a free public charter school that enrolls students in 1st-8th grades. FGCS emphasizes project-based, experiential learning rooted in the local community. Students are out in the community one-half day weekly learning and applying their learning on outings to forests, farms, museums and more. FGCS has two school gardens, an arts education program and physical activity program.
