There is no charge to bring your toxic trash to Metro's household hazardous waste permanent facilities or community roundups. No containers larger than five gallons and 35-gallon limit per load will be accepted. Metro recycles most of what it collects and disposes of the rest in a landfill specifically designed for hazardous waste. Metro recycles latex paint and sells it in one gallon cans and 5-gallon pails. For more information, go online at www.oregonmetro.gov or call Metro Recycling Information at 503.234.3000.
