The Water Treatment Plant provides high-quality water from the City-owned 4,225-acre watershed.
The City's water is treated and filtered to meet all State and Federal regulations. Recently, the City of Forest Grove expanded their ownership of the Joint Water Commission (JWC) Treatment Plant to better respond to the increased water demands, especially during the summer months.
Our water sources include the Watercrest Road Water Treatment Plant which receives water from the City-owned watershed south of Gales Creek and the Joint Water Commission (JWC) Water Treatment Plant located south of Forest Grove. The JWC Plant receives water from the Barney and Scoggins Reservoirs through the Tualatin River system.
