Parking Permits

Motor vehicles bearing a valid residential parking permit may be parked on city streets in excess of the time limits (up to 72 hours) on specific street sections within designated areas. A permit confers no rights upon the holder, but rather is a privilege providing exemption from the time limitations and is subject to revocation at any time in the discretion of the city.

This is an annual permit that expires on December 31 of each year. You must submit a new application each year.

Temporary Parking Permit

Temporary residents of a designated area may apply for a temporary residential parking permit which expires 30 days from the issuance date.

Guest Parking Permit

Residents of a designated area may apply for a guest parking permit upon request. A guest parking permit shall be displayed on the front dashboard of the vehicle while the vehicle is parked in a designated area.

To obtain a Parking Permit:

  • Mail a completed application to the Engineering Department- 1924 Council Street, Forest Grove, OR 97116
