The department is responsible for a full range of comprehensive human resources services and programs to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the City including:

  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Benefit Administration
  • New Employee Orientation
  • Labor Relations
  • Personnel Policy Development and Administration
  • Personnel Record Management
  • Maintenance of the City’s Compensation and Classification System
  • Trainings
  • Employee relations and recognition
  • Provide leadership and act as a resource to the organization in all aspects of human resources management
