06.20.25 Child Killed in Traffic Crash

On Friday, June 20, 2025, at approximately 4:10 p.m., Forest Grove Police Department officers responded to an injury crash in a parking lot near the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Laurel Street. It was reported a vehicle struck a minor pedestrian. On arrival, officers located a six-year-old child had been struck by a vehicle. The child was pronounced deceased on the scene. The identity of the child is not being released.

 

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators. The identity of the driver is not being released.

 

The crash is being investigated by the Forest Grove Police Department and members of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART).
