These grants support projects that enhance economic vitality, improve public spaces, and create welcoming places for residents and visitors alike. Each recipient contributes to the continued growth and vibrancy of Forest Grove through projects that beautify or enhance by building a stronger sense of place.
The grants reflect the City’s ongoing investment in the partnerships that help move community-driven ideas into action. Total budgeted funding for the BIG grants was $350,000. Seven project application requests of $337,735 were awarded, and with anticipated applicant matches, there will be an anticipated community investment total of $679,870.
Projects funded through the Building Improvement Grants (BIG) will roll out in the coming months, bringing visible improvements and positive momentum to our downtown and surrounding areas. Applications for 2026 will open in July.
