Eric G. Stewart Collection Inventory

The Eric G. Stewart Collection reflects the interests of its namesake, who documented the history of Forest Grove and the surrounding region during the last dozen or so years of his life. It includes materials on such topics as streetcars, railroads, and other modes of transportation; churches; businesses; theaters; historic homes and civic improvements; census records; cemetery indexes; and biographical information on several prominent members of the community.

Please note that the Stewart Collection includes very few photographic prints. Most of the images have been photocopied, so researchers will be looking at preservation versions.

Please direct questions about the collection to the Library Information Desk 503-992-3327.
