The City Council is seeking volunteers to better our community by advising City Council on policy issues and Council adopted Goals and Objectives. The public is always invited and encouraged to attend advisory committee meetings
Whether you are interested in budgeting, community involvement, economic development, parks and recreation, library, historical preservation, public are, land use and more, the City has many opportunities to volunteer your time and talents.
Eligibility: a person must be 18 years of age or older and a Forest Grove resident. Members serve four-year terms, may not be city employees, and all members serve without compensation.
Attendance: members are expected to attend scheduled meetings and members with three or more unexcused absences may have their position declared vacant.
Public Meetings and Records: all meetings are held in compliance with public meeting laws and are subject to public records laws. Please become familiar with these prior to applying.
Students: are welcome to serve on all Boards and Commissions, except for Planning and Budget. Student applicants must be high school grade level and residing or attending school, including home-schooled, in Forest Grove. To apply, use the form above.
