The Light and Power Department will install a temporary service at residential construction sites as a department service to construction contractors. The temporary service is to be used for duplexes and single-family residential power only.

Utility-supplied temporary service equipment;
Underground or overhead;
Temporary service electrical permit and inspection eliminated;
120/240 volt, 60 amp, (2) 20 amp, 120 volt circuits,(1) 20 amp, 240 volt circuit- not to be modified by customer.
$225 prepaid fee for up to four months of use;
$100 for an additional four months (temporary may be extended for ONE 4-month period only);
Fee will be paid, IN PERSON, at the Light and Power Department at 1818 B Street.
* Temporary assigned to individual construction site with removal at the time of permanent service connection.
** Fee is applicable where temporary service is to be placed adjacent to the point of connection to the City's electric distribution system. Consult Utility for additional fee, which may be charged for line extension to temporary service.
