Planning

The Planning Division provides both current and long-range planning services for the City. 

The Planning Division is responsible for:

• ensuring compliance with Oregon's Statewide Land Use Planning Goals
• implementing City Council goals and objectives for land use
• and administering the City's development code. 

The Planning Division also provides staff support to the Planning Commission, Historic Landmarks Board, Community Forestry Commission, and the City's Urban Renewal Agency.
